Howdy! Yep, I’m back with another “look back” at Shatterville. I’m back a lot further than I had expected to go. When I started the first journal entry, I thought I would be going back maybe to The Event the two novelists are looking into or maybe a couple of years before that. Turns out, I’m “way back.” LOL!
Gotta warn ya — other than really checking spelling, these “journal entries” are more or less stream of consciousness and first draft kind of stuff. So, if you see any glaring inconsistencies or baaaaad errors, forgive me but maybe bring them to my attention too, okay?
I did actually throw away my first journal entry today. It bored even me! HA HA! It was about what our town looks like and how I hope the novelists will make up a totally different town. You know, I don’t want anyone actually figuring out where we are. And there I was describing the town in very fine detail. Hmmm … you might not recognize it because you have probably never been here, but .. I was doing exactly what I hope they will not do. And, like I said, it was actually really boring. YAWN!

Welcome!
I live in “Shatterville.” Two women, the two who started the Shatterville Times blog, have been in town recently. They are nosing around.
I thought it might be an interesting project to trail behind them, see what messes they unearth and add my two cents. I am keeping my thoughts as a sort of journal and will add them as pdf files you can download if you want to follow along.
Thanks for joining me here. Let’s hope that those two nosy Parkers don’t cause more trouble than this little part of the world can handle.
